Charleston Congresswoman Nancy Mace just hung a massive picture that features her naked silhouette during a House Oversight hearing this week, claiming it was a still from a hidden camera video taken without her consent by her ex-fiancé, Patrick Bryant.

The image, shown on a poster behind her, depicted what Mace described as her own naked silhouette, allegedly recorded without her knowledge. She said the footage was part of a collection of videos she found after gaining access to Bryant’s safe and phone.

Mace accused Bryant and three others of secretly filming women, sparking ongoing defamation lawsuits on both sides. Bryant and the other men deny the accusations.

“Today I choose daylight,” Mace said. “I was filmed in secret. I didn’t give my consent.”

The hearing focused on surveillance in private spaces. Mace criticized South Carolina’s privacy laws and urged stronger protections. She also introduced legislation to address hidden recordings.

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson has denied Mace’s claims that his office ignored the allegations.
